Green Bank Leisure Club 綠岸休閒會館 is located in Dongshan township, Yilan. Nestled in lush greenery , this modern five storey property offers ample space and comfort for a great gateway in Yilan.
Here’re some pictures of the accommodation exterior !
The minsu prides itself as a family-friendly accommodation. At the front entrance area, you can see a huge grass patch with kiddo playground.
As you walk towards the back of the minsu, you can see more facilities – swings, sand pit and even bicycles for cycling. There is also a BBQ pit area, and open-air stone table and chair. Kids really have plenty of space to run around !
On the ground floor is the spacious lounge that is brightly-colored with full glass windows, creating a joyful atmosphere.
Just outside the reception area.
This is the reception desk with travel brochures and the local snacks like biscuits and sweets.
You can even pick up a book at the corner shelf.
Seating area with stuff toy and lovely pony chairs.
Next, let’s look at the rooms. Don’t worry that you need to climb the stairs as there is an elevator – really a savior especially for elderly and tourists like us with large luggage.
If you ask me to describe the rooms here, I would say ‘simply spacious’ ! Not only the room is spacious (at least 50 sq.m), the balcony and the bathroom are too!
The 4th floor has 2 rooms, M1 and M2. This door serves as a privacy for M1 guests. Once you push open the door, you can see a super big balcony dedicated for M1.
The room is accessible by card, instead of the bulky key.
We were pleasantly surprised not only by the sheer abundance space, but also the luxury of a super big bathtub. Really need a hot soak after a long ride from Hualien !
The room is simply designed yet cozy with 2 king size comfortable beds. Appreciate the spacious room as there is more room to move around ! There is also a swing chair with my ‘fav bear’ and a small slide for young kids too !
Never had such a big bathroom before !
There is a shower installed and a bathtub too.
See how big is this bathtub !
This open concept bathroom is definitely great for family with young kids. You can watch the kids playing in the tub while having a shower !
The room is well equipped with boiling kettle, mineral water, coffee & tea and toiletries including Shiseido shower gel & shampoo, hair dryer and even the hair clip !
Next to our room is M2 – a double room with a king size bed. If your travelling group require two rooms, you can choose M1 and M2 as these rooms are next to each other. There is also a balcony, but not as big as M1.
All the rooms are bright and roomy due to the natural light beaming from the big windows.
This bathroom space is similarly spacious with his-and-hers double vanity.
Enjoying the view while soaking in this ‘sexiest’ bathtub !
The top floor is the H1 VIP room with 2 king size beds and an adjoined living room. Here’re some snapshots:
Enjoying the greenery and mountain view while taking a relax bath !
A separate living room.
Another room to rave is Room 302 – a lively Pokemen kid-theme room that incorporates playful design and fun furnishing like the loft bed and slide too!
I love this corner with sofa !
Another room on 3rd floor – double room with black and white checkers design (Room 303)
If you need more privacy without using the blinds, this bathroom has the half height frosted window.
Relaxing spacious balcony with a swing chair and even an open-air bathtub !
A double room on the 2nd floor with a king size bed and a spacious balcony for relaxing and enjoying the view !
There are 8 rooms in this minsu and you can click the website to view the rooms. Do book early if you have preference for any room design.
The dining area is located on the second floor – cozy sky dining area with 270 greenery view.
You can sit here to enjoy a coffee and view the panoramic mountain view !
Breakfast is a simple affair yet delicious – sweet potato porridge with stir-fried vegetables, egg, Yilan duck meat, and seasonal fruits. There is also soya milk and coffee for self-serve.
The location of the minsu is also pretty convenient to Luodong night market and most Yilan attractions. There is a big map next to the lift that shows Yilan scenic places. You can check with the friendly housekeeper lady for recommendation too !
We had an enjoyable time staying in the minsu. If you are planning for a getaway from the hustle and bustle of urban city, this is indeed a great choice accommodation with family-friendly amenities, especially the lift access, which is a big plus point !
